Appropriations Letter
SGNA asks for your support with an additional letter campaign to your national Senators regarding the House Labor, Health and Human Services Appropriations bill for FY 2005. Use this letter template to urge your Senators to restore an 8.5% cut for advanced practice nursing and instead look to increase allotted funds.
Here is a sample letter you can adjust to send to your Congressman to
urge their support of H.R. 4283 The College Access and Opportunity Act
of 2004 to include the provisions of H.R. 934 The Teacher and Nurse Support Act
of 2003 to help the nursing shortage.
