Speaker Agreement 

Speakers are asked to complete this brief online agreement form to confirm intent to speak at the SGNA 51st Annual Course.

Session Information

Please reference the speaker handbook to learn more about the session information that SGNA requires. Please submit the following session information to Kiana Coffey at kcoffey@sgna.org via email by November 20, 2023.

  • Session title
  • Learning objective grid (example on page 4 of speaker handbook)
  • 2-3 sentence session description
  • Audience level (more information on page 6 of speaker handbook)
  • Session subject area (options on page 3 of speaker handbook)

Presentation Materials

Presentation materials are required for all speakers. To learn more about creating your presentation, please reference the speaker handbook

All speakers are required to use the SGNA 51st Annual Course Slide Template to ensure uniformity of presentation materials. Download the SGNA 51st Annual Course Slide Template.

Speaker Bio and Photo
Speakers will be introduced by a moderator at the beginning of their session. The moderator will read a short bio and disclose any relevant financial relationships that the speaker has identified. SGNA will provide the bio that speakers submitted via the abstract submission process to moderators to introduce speakers. If your information has changed since you submitted your abstract or you would like to update your bio, or if there are additional speakers in your presentation, please email Kiana Coffey at kcoffey@sgna.org by February 20, 2024. 

SGNA is utilizing a mobile app to help speakers, attendees, and exhibitors make the most of their experience at the Annual Course. Please send Kiana Coffey your photo by February 20, 2024, or will be asked to upload your photo to your profile in the mobile app upon launch.

Accomodations and Travel

SGNA does not cover lodging and travel for Annual Course speakers, unless previously communicated. 

SGNA encourages speakers to book their hotel at either of the two hotels noted below. Rooms are available for booking until April 7, 2023, or until the room blocks are filled. You will receive the link to book your hotel at SGNA's negotiated rate in your registration confirmation email.

Registration

The Annual Course sessions will take place at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky. If you plan on attending any other educational sessions, visiting the Exhibit Hall, or taking advantage of any of the networking opportunities at the 51st Annual Course, please review the registration information on the SGNA website and register for the 51st  Annual Course as an attendee. If you only plan to present your session at the Annual Course, SGNA will provide you with a speaker-only registration.  You will be able to attend other educational sessions and visit the Exhibit Hall only if you register as an attendee. 

Important Deadlines

  • October 20, 2023 - Submit online speaker agreement via email to Kiana Coffey at kcoffey@sgna.org
  • November 20, 2023 - Submit required speaker session information to Kiana Coffey at kcoffey@sgna.org
  • February 20, 2024 - Submit your syllabus materials (i.e., presentation slides, PDFs, any supplemental information) to Kiana Coffey at kcoffey@sgna.org
  • March 15, 2024 - Email Kiana Coffey at kcoffey@sgna.org if you would like speaker-only registration

Honorarium 

Your honorarium check will be mailed in June 2024 to the address you submitted in the speaker agreement survey. If you would like to donate your honorarium back to SGNA, please email Kiana Coffey at kcoffey@sgna.org by May 17, 2024.
